How do I submit my manuscript?

Go to "Submission > click on Submit Paper online".

Once you've click on Submit Paper online, you will be able to submit your content. Choose the type of content you'd like to submit from the pull-down menu, along with the journal you'd like to submit your content to.

How will I know my paper has been approved?

Once the Editor has made a decision, you will be informed via email. If your paper is accepted, you will receive instructions on the next steps to take.

What if my article has been published elsewhere?

The submission cannot have been previously published in English nor can it be before another journal for consideration. Previous publication in another language should also be disclosed.

Submission based on a conference paper:

Authors can submit an article that is based on a conference paper, so long as it has been substantially revised, expanded and rewritten so that it is significantly different from the conference paper or presentation on which it is based. The article must be sufficiently different to make it a new, original work. These articles will be treated like any other article submitted to ACADRES, and will go through our plagiarism checker and also undergo a double-blind peer-review process.

The original conference paper should be supplied by the author with the expanded article for the purpose of comparison.

Can I Add Co-authors?

You must provide the definitive list of all authors when you submit your article. Make sure you all agree on who the corresponding author will be and the order of co-authors, and check all affiliations and contact details before submitting.

Changes to the authorship are only permissible during the review process. You will need to get approval for any changes by contacting the journal's Editor in Chief with your change request and a clear reason for the change. This request must come from all the authors, including the person you are adding or removing and they must be copied into the email you send.

No changes are allowed after your article has been accepted.

Why am I asked to provide detail of three experts in my subject?

You must identify three experts in the subject of your article. The experts must not be members of the editorial board of any ACADRES journal. He/She  must not be from your* institution, and at least one of them must be from a different country from you*.

The purpose of this request is ensure your familiarity with the latest research literature in the field and to identify suitable experts who could be invited to join our Experts Database and who may be asked if they are willing to review articles for ACADRES  journals; we are unlikely to ask them to referee your article.

(*"you" refers to all authors of the paper)

What about author’s privacy?

The names and email addresses entered anywhere on the ACADRES website will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of the specified journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

What if my article has multiple authors?

We would expect a "corresponding author" to be responsible for the article during the refereeing process after submission, and for the collection and provision of the copyright assignment from each author after acceptance.
