COUPLED FIXED POINT THEOREMS IN INTUITIONISTIC FUZZY METRIC SPACE

Abstract

This paper establishes coupled fixed point theorems in intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces under generalized contractive conditions involving continuous t-norms and t-conorms. For mappings F:X×X→X and g:X→X, suitable conditions involving M, N, and parameters α,β,γ with 0≤α+β+γ<1 are considered. Using iterative sequences, completeness, and weak compatibility, the existence and uniqueness of a common coupled fixed point are established. The results extend coupled fixed point theory in intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces.
