Abstract
This paper attempts to identify the impact of emotional intelligence on self efficacy of Health staff in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. As a fairly new concept, emotional intelligence has only been discussed for the past twenty years and valid researches on the effects of emotional intelligence in the work environment are still rare. This paper tries to add to the discussion with an analysis of the links between emotional intelligence and self efficacy. The method of linear regression is used to fulfill the above mentioned task, the results of this peculiar study, highlight a significantly positive relation, among the constructs considered.
