ABSTRACT

This study addresses a theoretical gap in hemodynamics by developing a comprehensive analytical framework for the pulsatile blood flow. In contrast to previous models that assume rigid boundaries or Newtonian fluids, this study concurrently considers non-Newtonian variable viscosity and arterial wall compliance. Through the application of perturbation methods, we derived closed-form expressions for the velocity, pressure gradient, and Wall Shear Stress (WSS).
