ABSTRACT

 

The present age is the age of development, achievements and success, and for this Industrial development. We have to focus or work on managerial competencies of male and female. Particularly females because mostly industry is having male –dominated culture.  This study evaluates the competencies of employee in regards to Indian construction industry and this paper will also discuss about the competencies requirements and how we can fill the competency gap. With the help of competency mapping in Indian construction sector will know the desire competency to perform that particular job. 

Construction industry is famous for its male dominated industries around the globe not only in terms of workers but also in regards of their top management people.

This paper shows an experimental survey of women’s parts inside the business and the manners by which individuals comprehend their working knowledge when customary sexual orientation parts are tested.

The study found that men in the industry regarded as the gatekeepers are now finding ways to respond to and make sense of a changing workplace, and the realities that women are now actively encouraged to participate, legally protected against discrimination and more highly represented in non-traditional areas of the construction industry.
