ABSTRACT

Construction safety is very important to achieve project management goals. Meanwhile, the resilience concept provides an effective and pragmatic countermeasure to improve the safety management level of construction projects. Nevertheless, resilience has received less attention in construction safety management researches. Therefore, the aim of this research is to identify the key factors of safety management for construction projects from the point of view of resilience. In the present research, firstly, a deep review of the literature was done, and key indicators were extracted from library studies and categorized into four dimensions. Then, a questionnaire containing 21 indicators affecting the safety management of construction projects was prepared and given to the members of the expert group, then the importance of each indicator was obtained using the BWM method. Data analysis was done using Lingo software. The results showed that among the main criteria, information management criterion with a weight of 0.676 ranked first, organization management criterion with a weight of 0.138 ranked second, materials and technology management ranked third with a weight of 0.127, and personal management ranked fourth with a weight of 0.059. Among the sub-criteria, emergency response system with a weight of 0.385, post-disaster recovery system with a weight of 0.091 and safety monitoring system with a weight of 0.089 were ranked first to third.
