Aim: There is more worry than ever before concerning the influence and interaction between an employee's personal and work lives. Work Life Balance doesn't really imply devoting equal time to all activities such as personal, social, and business operations, but rather devoting adequate time to all. The objective of this research is to investigate the connection between work-life balance and locus of control and to study how the Medical women's work-life balance is impacted by locus of control, profession in Patna (Bihar).

Methodology: The data is collected from the 983 women medical professionals including personnel working in medicine, nursing, technology, administration, and customer service of the private and public hospitals of Patna district through questionnaire.  

Findings: The sample age ranges from 18-60 years. The study reveals that the construct ‘locus of control’ has an important linkage with balance between work and life (ß= 0.173; Sig<0.05). The current study found that locus of control has a predictive association with work-life balance, which leads to work satisfaction among women medical professionals.

Implication: The current study's findings will be used to give vital information to policymakers so that they might better manage Balance between work and life by focusing on the point of control.

Originality/Value: The study of Balance between work and life is crucial for contentment whether it be personal or social. In the healthcare industry, striking the perfect balance between work and family may be tough, because most services are perishable and must be used immediately, the employee must be physically there to serve at any moment when the service is needed.
