ABSTRACT
BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY:
The left ventricle's apical, basal, or mid-segments enlarge in Takotsubo cardiomyopathy, an acute type of heart failure. leading to significant dysfunction and end-organ impairment. Historically, this condition has been considered temporary, innocuous, and self-limiting, with a speedy recovery period.
Objective Of The Study:
The primary goal This study's objective was to ascertain how well cardiac rehabilitation and aerobic exercise affected endurance and life satisfaction in a patient suffering from acute Takotsubo cardiomyopathy.
Subjects and Methodology:
This single case study involved a 50-year-old female diagnosed with takotsubo cardiomyopathy. The intervention included conventional physiotherapy along with aerobic exercise and cardiac rehabilitation, administered six times per week for 45 minutes per session over six weeks. Endurance and The Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire and the 6-minute walk were used to measure quality of life. test, both before and after the intervention.
Result: Statistical analysis revealed notable enhancements in quality of life and endurance. The 6-minute walk test distance for the patient went up from 130 meters pre-test to 250 meters post-test. The pre-test Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire results showed 4, whereas the post-test score was 1.
Conclusion: The study concluded that aerobic exercise combined with cardiac rehabilitation significantly improves endurance Improving life quality in patients suffering from acute Takotsubo cardiomyopathy.
Clinical Implications: The combination of aerobic exercise and cardiac rehabilitation has a significant positive effect on endurance and acute Takotsubo cardiomyopathy sufferers' quality of life.

An extreme form of heart failure is called Takotsubo cardiomyopathy. that causes the left ventricle's apical, basal, or mid segments to enlarge. It is also characterized by significant dysfunction and end-organ damage. Takotsubo cardiomyopathy has historically been seen as a completely temporary, self-limiting, benign condition that heals quickly.
