Abstract:
The thin films of nickel spinel ferrite were deposited on glass substrate using spray pyrolysis deposition technique. The deposited thin films, after annealing were characterized by X-ray diffraction at room temperature in 2q range of 200-800. Using XRD data the structural parameters as like crystallite size, lattice constant, and X-ray density were obtained and found to be in the reported range. The optical absorbance was recorded in the range of 400-1100nm. Using this data the band gap of the nickel ferrite thin film was calculated.
