ABSTRACT
Aim of the study: The study aims to investigate the extent of criminology courses as a reflection to a better society among the respondents in the aspect of needs and demands, goals and purposes, peace and order, and prevention of crime.
Design/Methodology: Descriptive quantitative research design is the method used because it evaluates and measures the analysis of statistics in the data gathered during the investigation process of the study. Likewise, purposive sampling is used in the gathering of the sample size and population of the study. The study comprised Forty (40) respondents only.
Findings: Results show that aspect of needs and demands of the course provides a criminal justice system to law enforcement, juvenile justice, drug abuse and addiction, criminal ethnography, and theoretical criminology, show that goals and purposes pursue a career in the future for law enforcement agencies, prison facilities, and research institutions for crimes in the society, show that peace and order emphasize on proper communication and unified information system to prevent issues and challenges that ignites trouble in the community, prevention to the crime, show to encourage proper schooling because it helps to educate people and develops better citizens in the community and criminal justice system, and show to implement properly to lessen crimes in the community among the respondents.
Practical Implications: Findings show that there is a significant relationship on the extent of criminology courses as a reflection to a better society as observed among the respondents.
