ABSTRACT
Language proficiency, particularly in English, plays a crucial role in determining access to education, employment, digital resources, and social mobility in an increasingly interconnected world. However, linguistic inequalities continue to marginalize millions of learners, especially those from rural, economically disadvantaged, and non-English-speaking backgrounds. This paper examines how technology-enabled English education can serve as a transformative pathway toward inclusive development. Digital learning platforms, mobile applications, artificial intelligence-based language tools, virtual classrooms, and adaptive learning systems have expanded opportunities for personalized and accessible English language learning. These innovations help overcome geographical, financial, and infrastructural barriers while promoting equitable educational access. The study highlights the role of technology in enhancing communication skills, employability, digital literacy, and lifelong learning opportunities among diverse learner groups. It discusses challenges such as the digital divide, technological readiness, and language inclusivity. The paper concludes that integrating technology with English education can significantly bridge linguistic disparities and contribute to sustainable, inclusive, and knowledge-driven socio-economic development.
