Abstract
The water samples of different sources i.e. tube well, pond, well and river covering the whole district of Araria was analysed for the physico chemical parameters for pH, Alkalinity, Fluoride, Chloride, Dissolved solids, Carbon dioxide, BOD, COD, Iron and Arsenic. The results revealed that the findings are within the permissible limit for the drinking water as per the BIS recommendations.
