ABSTRACT

The travel and tourism sector is one of the world's most dynamic markets. A significant source of economic growth, tourism is intrinsically linked to the hotel and airline industries, as well as the domestic travel industry. Both professional and unskilled workers are needed in the tourism industry, and it provides a boost to many other businesses thanks to its focus on high-traffic areas like restaurants, cafes, tourist attractions, and local markets. Travelers hope to unwind and get to know themselves or their loved ones better while experiencing something new and exciting, like as the region's cuisine, art, sports, or landmarks. Vacationers like browsing stores in search of unique mementos to remind them of their trip. Tourist shopping behaviour is unique as most products fall in the category of non-essential items. In this paper, we'll investigate what drives visitors to buy things, with an eye on how their spending habits are likely to change in the future
