ABSTRACT
The present study has been undertaken to study the aggression in relation to home environment among secondary school students. The sample consists of 200 secondary school students (100 male and 100 female) from various Government (100) and Private (100) schools of Amritsar District with rural (100) and urban (100) background. The data was collected by using standardized scale of Aggression Scale (AS–Pal & Naqvi; 2009); Home environment Scale (HES–Misra, 1989). The conclusions revealed a significant difference in: Aggression among female and male secondary school students, in favor of male students; students studying in govt. and private schools in favor of government school students, and students with urban and rural background in favor of students with rural background. Again, it revealed a significant difference in perception of home environment: among male and female school students in favor of female students; students studying in govt. and private schools in favor of private school students, and students from urban and rural background in favor of students with urban background. No significant relationship between Aggression and perception of home environment of secondary school students was found.
